“I love design. Mid-Century, Modern, Minimalistic and Mies (as in van der Rohe). The Hangar Lofts Hotel is an extension of my interest in architecture, art and design. Formerly a Merrill Lynch stock broker later turned contractor then real-estate developer, I found my passion and calling in repurposing old warehouses into chic living quarters. The Hangar building was originally purchased and remodeled in 2003 as loft apartments that rented on annual leases. In September of 2016, I started plotting a new course for their existence and began the trend of transitioning tenants into guests so that more art-conscious and design-motivated travelers could experience the lifestyle that I have enjoyed creating. We hope that you will visit and experience inspirational design and unique furnishes before drifting off to count sheep.”
